Learning objectives
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Recognize and identify behavioral symptoms of Asperger Syndrome/ High Functioning Autism
  2. List 4 theories that explain social behavior
  3. Describe the major areas of a social skills assessment
  4. Describe how ASD impacts a student’s ability to meet academic expectations
  5. Describe treatment strategies appropriate for specific symptoms.
