Course Description and Learning Objectives:
Working as a clinician has many rewards –and many challenges. Among the challenges is staying physically and emotionally healthy amidst time-crunched days and stressful cases and interactions. In this 2-hour workshop, participants will be able to 1) identify recent research on the value of building resilience for healthcare professionals, and 2) articulate a three-part resilience-building program. This interactive workshop will help clinicians at all levels to identify and engage in steps to prevent burnout, and build a healthier and less stressful clinical career.
